Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and glucose, recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly; maintains unit organization.
• Demonstrates flexibility and multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment.
• Prioritizes tasks to support unit workflow with RN or manager as needed.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers phones and call lights politely and communicates information to staff and family.
