Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis invites nursing students in their final RN or LPN semester to complete a senior practicum in the Medical-Surgical Service Line.

Participants will earn a $2,000 stipend through the Earn As You Learn program while gaining hands-on clinical experience. You'll work alongside experienced Mercy nurses, caring for a diverse patient population, and will strengthen assessment, clinical judgment, and time-management skills as you prepare for graduation and a potential Graduate

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in the final semester of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program (December 2026 Grad).
• Complete senior practicum within Mercy Hospital St. Louis Medical-Surgical Service Line.
• Accept a bedside nursing position with Mercy upon graduation.
• Commit to a minimum six-month employment agreement following graduation.

Responsibilities

• Complete senior practicum in Mercy's Medical-Surgical Service Line.
• Receive mentorship from experienced Mercy nurses.
• Care for a diverse patient population and develop critical clinical skills.
• Prepare for a Graduate Nurse position after graduation.
