Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus seeks a Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Unit on a full-time basis. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible. The unit emphasizes safe, patient-centered care and collaboration across the healthcare team in the vibrant Northern Virginia region.

The ideal candidate will bring BSN or higher, Virginia RN eligibility, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience. This position offers a 3 x 12 hour day schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or eligible for licensure.
• BSN or higher degree in nursing required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Document patient care activities according to standards and policies.
• Educate patients and families and support transitions of care.
