Job summary

Genesis’s Lopatcong Center is seeking a Medical/Central Supply Assistant to manage hospital-grade inventory, restock central supply, and coordinate ordering for nursing units. You will work to ensure ready-to-use supplies, verify deliveries, and support cost-effective purchasing within budget guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and familiarity with medical supplies used in long-term care. Proficiency in inventory tools and Office apps is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiar with nursing and medical supplies used in long-term care or healthcare.
• Working knowledge of inventory management tools, online purchasing system, Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical and nursing supplies inventory across central supply and designated areas.
• Develop and place weekly orders; monitor and report on supply utilization to nursing and administration.
• Establish reorder point information for routinely used products.
