Job summary

Genesis in Sissonville, WV is seeking a Medical Supply Coordinator to manage the hospital and nursing supplies inventory within central supply, place weekly orders, and monitor utilization for reporting to leadership.

You will partner with nursing center leadership to ensure SOP compliance, manage reorder points, restock unit locations, and verify invoice pricing while supporting smooth operations in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with nursing and medical supplies used in long-term care.
• Working knowledge of inventory management tools and online purchasing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Email).

Responsibilities

• Manage medical and nursing supplies inventory within central supply.
• Develop and place weekly orders.
• Monitor and report supply utilization to nursing and administration.
• Partner with nursing center leadership to ensure SOP compliance and budget adherence.
• Establish and maintain reorder point information.
• Restock unit-based locations and patient rooms.
• Verify items on invoices are priced correctly.
