Job summary

Foundation Medicine is seeking a Director, Medical Strategic Execution to join the Medical Leadership Team in Boston. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, drive cross-functional collaboration, and enable decision-making across a complex environment to maximize patient impact.

You will partner with the CMO and senior leaders to shape Medical priorities, drive high-impact initiatives, and ensure alignment across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Evidence Generation,

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific, clinical, healthcare, or related field (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Shape, refine, and execute Medical's strategic priorities with the CMO and Medical Leadership Team.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans with alignment, accountability and measurable outcomes across Medical.
• Identify risks, opportunities and trends; develop recommendations for informed decision-making.
• Drive execution of high-priority initiatives to advance Medical and enterprise objectives.
• Foster alignment across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Evidence Generation, Regulatory, Commercial and other functions.
• Represent Medical in governance forums; ensure Medical perspectives are incorporated into enterprise decisions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and business health metrics; lead annual planning, OKRs, QBRs, and leadership meetings.
