Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Medical Science, to provide strategic medical, scientific, and operational leadership across clinical development programs. The role combines medical monitoring with sponsor-facing leadership, business development support, and study oversight, including potential global project lead responsibilities.

The incumbent will serve as a medical and scientific authority in client interactions, support proposal development and bid defense,

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with residency in a medical or pediatric subspecialty, including a fellowship in hematology and/or oncology.
• At least 10 years combined experience in academic and/or industry clinical research in drug development.
• Experience as a Medical Monitor on clinical oncology and/or rare clinical trials is required.
• Board certification in hematology and/or oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior medical and scientific leader in sponsor interactions, building trusted partnerships through proactive consultation, strategic insight, and exceptional service delivery.
• Represent the organization as physician and subject matter expert during client meetings, scientific presentations, conferences, proposal discussions, and bid defense activities.
• Provide medical and scientific expertise during client feasibility assessments, including evaluation of study design, patient populations, enrollment strategies, and site selection.
• Serve as Medical Monitor for assigned studies, providing medical oversight of patient safety and ensuring scientific rigor and operational excellence.
• Lead complex global clinical programs and provide oversight to regional medical leaders and project teams.
