Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of professional level experience working with Medical Staff departments and committees to meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Must obtain CPMSM certification within nine months of hire.
• San Bernardino County is not able to consider visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, assigns, and evaluates the work of Medical Staff Office support staff.
• Oversees credentialing, reappointment, and temporary authorization processes for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professional Staff.
• Reviews and interprets regulatory requirements; develops conforming language for bylaws, policies, rules, and regulations.
• Monitors licensure, certification, continuing education, and other credentialing requirements.
• Provides administrative support to the Executive Committee, Credentials Committee, and other Medical Staff committees, including preparing agendas, materials, and minutes.
• Coordinates proctoring and performance review data collection, tracking, and reporting.
