Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage medical staff credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes. You will coordinate with the Credentials Committee, maintain the staff database, and support administrative functions for Medical Staff and APPs.

The role requires familiarity with by-laws, regulatory requirements, and meeting coordination, with duties including onboarding, staff orientations, and recordkeeping

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare or as administrative assistant.
• NAMSS CPCS or CPMSM certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with credentialing processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Credentialing/Re-Credentialing for Medical Staff and APPs.
• Coordinate with Credentials Committee and Medical Executive Committee.
• Maintain Medical Staff database and update rosters and directories.
• Prepare minutes for MEC and Credentialing Committee meetings.
• Support physician engagement and quality tracking activities.
• Assist with orientations, onboarding and staff functions as assigned.
