Job summary

Beartooth Billings Clinic seeks a part-time Medical Staff Coordinator in Red Lodge, MT to manage credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging for physicians and allied health professionals. The role requires coordination with medical staff leadership and regulatory bodies to ensure accreditation and state/federal compliance.

The position reports to the Compliance Officer and supports governance activities, maintains provider files, and facilitates efficient credentialing processes while

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) years of healthcare administrative experience required.
• Experience in medical staff services, credentialing, or provider enrollment preferred.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred or obtained within designated timeframe.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Previous credentialing/administrative assistant experience.
• Ability to reason independently and work with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical staff credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging processes for physicians and allied health professionals.
• Serve as liaison between practitioners, medical staff leadership, administration and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate provider files and databases; support governance activities.
• Coordinate committee meetings and facilitate an efficient credentialing process.
