Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to manage credentialing, privileging, and governance processes. You will coordinate with the Credentialing Verification Organization, prepare MEC materials, and support practitioner appointments and clinical privileges.

The role acts as a liaison among the Medical Staff Office, leadership, and credentialing partners to ensure timely review and compliance with bylaws and regulatory standards. Onsite travel to multiple OSF locations is possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing or related healthcare admin functions.
• Experience with medical staff committees or governance processes.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and privileging activities for physicians and APPs.
• Prepare materials for Medical Executive Committee and practitioner files.
• Assist in maintaining compliant practitioner documentation and committee records.
• Provide administrative support to medical staff committees and meetings.
