Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO seeks a Credentialing Coordinator to manage licenses, certifications, expirations, and renewals in the medical staff credentialing software. You will monitor system alerts, import data, and follow up with providers regarding upcoming expirations and required documents.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of healthcare credentialing experience, strong MS Office and data management skills, and an ability to handle confidential information with professional communication.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in healthcare, business, or related field or 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage licenses, certifications, expirations, and renewals in the medical staff credentialing software.
• Monitor and review system alerts; import data from web-based sources and follow up with providers on expirations and outstanding requirements.
• Generate and maintain data exports from the credentialing software.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and maintaining required credentialing documentation.
• Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot problems with downstream data sources and exports.
• Communicate professionally with medical staff members and administration to support the organized medical staff.
