Job summary

Riverside County Regional Medical Center is seeking an Administrative Services Supervisor to oversee the Medical Staff Department’s administrative staff and credentialing operations. The role conducts complex research, recommends departmental improvements, and reports to the Associate Medical Center Administrator and the Chief of Medical Staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, finance or a closely related field required.
• Experience supervising credentialing and privileging processes strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, ACGME, federal and state regulatory standards advisable.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and revises by-laws and ensures compliance with standards.
• Supervises centralized credentialing and privileging of physicians and providers.
• Plans and conducts studies of budget, staffing and space utilization.
• Coordinates division budget preparation and analyzes fiscal data.
• Develops policies and disseminates procedures.
• Interprets legislation impacting departmental operations.
• Directs and evaluates administrative staff.
