Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Service Area Leader to supervise ambulatory operations, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective patient care in the Riverside region. You will lead staff development, budgeting, and process improvements aligned with clinical and utilization standards.

The role requires overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating with physicians and executives, and delivering value-driven patient services while meeting budget targets and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of multi-facility supervisory experience in ambulatory care or other relevant healthcare experience, with operational oversight and budgeting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures; ensures patient safety in care provisioning.
• Reports safety hazards and incidents promptly.
• Implements and maintains patient care and quality service standards.
• Acts as patient advocate resolving patient care issues.
• Recommends and evaluates processes to improve systems and patient care results.
• Develops and monitors budgets and resource allocations.
• Monitors financial performance and identifies strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care.
• Determines staff mix and develops processes to screen, interview, hire, train, and maintain competency of department staff.
• Assists in staff development.
• Implements and monitors department policies to support goals and objectives.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership on patient services and operations.
• Manages physician and employee issues within the service area.
