University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, TX seeks a Medical Simulation Specialist to manage and operate high- and low-fidelity medical simulators and multimedia equipment for learners across programs.

This role trains faculty and students, troubleshoots AV and simulator issues, and maintains the simulation center's safety and readiness. A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience are required; it's a full-time on-site position.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• One year of experience operating and maintaining complex medical simulators, multimedia, and/or audio visual equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the day-to-day operation and setups of complex low and high-fidelity medical simulators and multimedia equipment for learners.
• Integrates, maintains and operates the simulation computer and audio/video technology.
• Provides faculty and student instruction on use of simulators and equipment.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and provides technical support for all simulation operations.
• Transforms medical case scenarios into realistic simulated learning environments.
