The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX seeks a dedicated simulations operations professional to support health education activities. The role focuses on setting up and operating simulators, training staff, and coordinating with faculty and external partners.

Candidates should have relevant nursing or health field experience, strong clinical knowledge, and familiarity with simulation software and AV equipment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health-related field plus two years’ relevant experience in academic, healthcare or simulation learning environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field plus four years’ clinical experience. Current license or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas.

Responsabilités

• Uses clinical knowledge to assist with design, set-up and leading of simulation activities.
• Leads and trains in role playing, props placement and moulage setup before and after simulations; records information and debriefs sessions as needed.
• Provide technical assistance, support and training to faculty, instructors and staff in the use of simulation equipment.
• Conducts tours and simulation sessions for internal/external groups and individuals.
• Researches and liaises with company representatives to improve operational efficiency, equipment and supplies for simulation.
