UNC Health Rex is seeking a dynamic Director of Medical Services to lead Intermediate Care and Intensive Care teams, overseeing MSICU and NSICU to drive clinical excellence and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes mentoring managers, building high-performing teams, and strong operational and financial oversight, including budgeting, staffing, and productivity. This onsite leadership position shapes the future of patient care across North Carolina.

Formación

Master's degree in nursing is required.
Nursing licensure in NC is required.
4 years of related experience or training.

Responsabilidades

Directs budget development and administration for Medical Nursing areas and Nursing Operations.
Reviews financial and operational data and takes corrective action.
Leads delivery of cost-effective, quality patient care aligned with standards.
Leads performance improvement efforts in Medical Nursing and Nursing Operations.
Develops and implements staffing plans to meet organizational goals.
Establishes goals and measures for patient and departmental outcomes.
Coordinates services across the organization to optimize care.
Maintains collegial relationships with Medical Staff and participates in governance.
