Job summary

Right Hire Consulting LLC seeks an experienced Senior Nursing Director to join its leadership team in North Carolina. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), this role will lead, implement, and evaluate nursing operations across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Intensive Care (ICU), and Intermediate Care Units.

Qualifications

• RN license in NC is required.
• BLS certification through AHA is required.
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum three years in healthcare management.
• Minimum 5 years of ICU/CCU clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations and resource management of assigned nursing units to support the overall mission and objectives of the health system.
• Provide strategic leadership in collaboration with the CNO to help shape the long-term vision for patient care services and clinical operations.
• Lead and evaluate nursing performance across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, and Intermediate Care Units, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality care.
• Promote and sustain a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and accountability among interdisciplinary teams.
• Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices, performance improvement initiatives, and quality assurance measures.
• Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as a key resource for clinical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness.
• Collaborate with physicians, administration, and other departments to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina (required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA (required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 60 days of hire)
