Job description

The Medical Scribe is responsible for documenting patient data into the electronic health records system, as well as assisting with patient care and related administrative tasks in the clinic to increase efficiency and productivity of providers.

This is a part-time (0.7 FTE) position with the following schedule:

• Monday - TCO Amery - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Tuesday - TCO Stillwater - 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Wednesday - Flexible Hours
• Thursday - TCO Stillwater - 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Friday - TCO Amery - 7:00 am - 2:00 pm

Twin Cities Orthopedics, an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), is owned and led by physicians, with a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

• Work alongside providers to document patient data into the electronic health records system during patient visits.
• Ensure accuracy of patient information entered into the system.
• Follow coding requirements during entry of patient information.
• Retrieve data as needed related to patient visits.
• Assist with preparation, stocking, and cleaning of exam rooms, and other clinical tasks as trained.
• Assist with medical procedures, prescriptions, and other clinical duties under provider supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology required.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments preferred.

Benefits & Compensation:

• Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, payable on the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible.
