The Medical Assistant or LPN collaborates with the provider on the patient care team. Responsibilities include hands-on patient care duties such as assisting with patient flow, supporting the provider, cosmetic procedures, surgical assistance, EMR scribing, lab duties, and phlebotomy.

Starting Pay Range: $22-$28 per hour

Duties:

• Assist provider with surgical and medical procedures such as surgeries, excisions, biopsies, wart treatments, cosmetic procedures, etc.
• Room patients and stay with them throughout the visit to scribe for the provider in the EMR system
• Perform clinical and administrative duties including injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, phone calls, scheduling, and patient education
