Job description

The Medical Scribe is responsible for documenting patient data into electronic health records systems, assisting with patient care, and performing related administrative tasks in clinics to enhance provider efficiency and productivity.

This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday) working three 10-hour days and two 5-hour days across various locations including Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, Otsego, and Plymouth.

Twin Cities Orthopedics, an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), is a group of locally owned medical practices led by physicians, aiming to empower patients with more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

• Document patient data during visits alongside providers
• Ensure accuracy of entered information
• Follow coding requirements
• Retrieve data related to patient visits
• Assist with tasks such as preparing exam rooms, assisting with x-rays, gathering patient information, assisting with procedures like cast application, and managing prescriptions under provider supervision
• Act as a prescribing delegate for medical orders in the electronic system
• Manage medical supplies and assist with clinical paperwork
• Return patient calls and schedule imaging studies and injections
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments is preferred

Benefits & Compensation:

• Starting pay varies based on experience and skills
• Sign-on bonus of $1,500 payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment (not available to internal applicants)
