Job summary

ScribeAmerica is hiring a Medical Scribe to work alongside physicians documenting patient visits in real time. You will record patient history, exams and treatments, and manage lab results using EHR systems, while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

This role offers full-time and part-time shifts, paid training, and great exposure in a busy outpatient setting. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are 18+, fluent English, and strong listening and communication skills, plus the ability to type 40+

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
