Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking motivated Medical Scribes to join our outpatient teams in Indiana. You will document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams, and treatments while ensuring chart accuracy and privacy compliance. Training is provided, with both full-time and part-time options available.

This role offers hands-on clinical exposure, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth as you support doctors and the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to meet vaccination requirements.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and strong communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to document accurately.
• Flexible schedule and reliable availability for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
