ScribeAmerica is seeking motivated medical scribes in California to work on-site with doctors, documenting patient visits in real time using EHR systems. Responsibilities include recording patient history, exams, results, and prescriptions while adhering to HIPAA.

We offer flexible schedules (full-time or part-time), paid training through Scribe University, mentorship and opportunities for career growth. Candidates should be 18+, have a high school diploma, be fluent in English, and able to type

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations (may be required)
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Flexible schedule availability
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day
• Access to a laptop (provided after training)

Responsabilidades

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
