Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking an on-site Medical Scribe in California to support physicians by documenting patient visits in real time. No experience required; comprehensive training will be provided through Scribe University.

You will record patient history, exams, and treatments, and use EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Opportunities for full-time and part-time roles with career growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
