Job summary

Integrated ENT Allergy & Immunology is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians by documenting patient encounters in real time within an EMR system. You will record HPI, ROS, exams, and treatment plans, and help manage orders, referrals, and prescriptions.

The role requires strong medical knowledge, excellent typing and communication skills, and meticulous documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in documenting patient encounters in real time within EMR.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent typing and written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Accompany providers during patient visits and accurately document patient encounters in the EMR in real time.
• Record HPI, ROS, exams, assessment, plan, and follow-up instructions as directed.
• Document labs, imaging, and diagnostics in the patient record.
• Enter orders for labs, procedures, referrals, and medications as instructed.
• Process prescription refill requests per provider instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with policy.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and patient treatments as appropriate.
• Educate patients on medications, procedures, and wellness recommendations as directed.
