Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site Medical Scribes in the United States, including Iowa. You’ll work alongside physicians to document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams, treatments, and test results, while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

No experience is required; paid training through Scribe University with hands-on clinical instruction. Full-time and part-time schedules available, with opportunities for growth and tuition savings programs described in the benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
