Job summary

ScribeAmerica offers on-site medical scribe roles where you’ll document patient visits in real time, assisting doctors with history, exams, tests, and prescriptions. You’ll gain hands-on clinical exposure while following HIPAA and contributing to accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Age 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Vaccination proof may be required.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM.
• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit and use a computer for several hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
