Job summary

HealthChannels, LLC is seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team in Corvallis, OR. You will work alongside doctors to document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams, and treatments using EHR systems.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training through Scribe University, hands-on clinical instruction, and mentorship. This on-site role offers full-time/part-time options and opportunities for growth in a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
