Job summary

HealthChannels, LLC is seeking a Medical Scribe to work on-site, supporting doctors during patient visits and documenting encounters in real time. You will use EHR systems, review labs, and ensure accurate charting while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided through Scribe University and clinical instruction. Flexible scheduling includes full-time and part-time options across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
