Job Summary

Our Medical Scribe is responsible for recording a Physician’s interactions with patients and assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation. The Scribe’s duties include recording the Doctor’s interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries, and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records. The ideal candidate will be great with computers and is an effective multi‑tasker handling many different tasks on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Take notes during patient visits and document them in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Learn about the medical process and use a team approach in patient supervision and documentation.
  • Work with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records.
  • Communicate with patients and supervise physicians professionally.
  • Complete all administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Help electronically prescribe medication for patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Advanced computer skills.
