Job summary

ScribeAmerica is hiring on-site medical scribes to work alongside physicians, documenting patient visits in real time. You’ll record history, exams, treatments, and test results using electronic health records, while keeping HIPAA compliance and accurate charts.

No experience is required; we provide paid training through Scribe University, real clinical exposure, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English with strong listening and communication skills.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and ability to use a computer for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits with doctors in real time.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
