ScribeAmerica in Zephyrhills, FL is hiring a Medical Scribe to work alongside physicians in outpatient settings. The role requires no experience, training provided, and a flexible part-time schedule (2–3 days per week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

You’ll document patient visits, manage histories, exams and treatments, and use EHR systems. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be at least 18, fluent in English, able to type 40+ WPM, and comfortable with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and fluent English required.
• Strong listening and communication skills essential.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
