ScribeAmerica in Winter Haven, FL is seeking motivated individuals to join as medical scribes. You will work alongside doctors to document patient visits in real time, record histories, exams, and test results, and use EHR systems.

Flexible full- or part-time roles and comprehensive training are provided. No prior experience is required; you'll receive paid training through Scribe University, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
