Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site Medical Scribes to work with doctors across various healthcare settings. You will document patient visits in real time, enter histories and exam results into EHR systems, and help keep charts accurate.

We offer flexible schedules, training, and opportunities for growth. No experience is required for entry, and paid training is provided through Scribe University along with hands-on instruction and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and accuracy.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, treatments, and results.
• Use EHR systems to enter and retrieve information.
• Review and track lab results and tests.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
