Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Scribe in Bayonne, NJ to capture accurate documentation of patient visits into the EMR and assist physicians with basic patient care. You will help direct patient flow, manage labs, and ensure DOH compliance in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CNA/MA/EMT or Paramedic paths, have a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• BLS certification is required at time of hire.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication are essential.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits into the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Assist site management with directing patient flow, inventory, and lab follow-ups.
• Ensure site lab compliance with Department of Health regulations.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality service to patients.
