The position requires a high school diploma or GED, medical assisting or phlebotomy training is preferred, and BLS certification is needed at hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; medical training is a plus.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program and/or phlebotomy credentials preferred; training will be provided.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• English language proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Ability to work full-time, including weekends.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate documentation of patient visits into the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care, including phlebotomy and lab tasks.
• Support site operations and manage patient flow; assist with inventory and labs follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and logbook maintenance.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and on-site facilities as needed.
• Facilitate diagnostic tests and referrals via Aftercare.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and physicians under physician guidance.
• Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional environment.
• Keep site stocked with supplies; provide compassionate care to patients.
