Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital is seeking a front desk/Patient Access role to schedule appointments, greet patients, and manage eligibility and registrations. The position is on-site with no remote options, and requires basic phone and computer skills along with strong customer service abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, about 1.5 years of related experience, and insurance knowledge. A valid driver’s license is needed for work-related travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1.5 years related experience and/or training
• Insurance knowledge
• Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related purposes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients by telephone or in person.
• Greet and direct patients, salespeople, and visitors.
• Review and update eligibility; complete full registration.
• Obtain copies of insurance cards and driver’s license; obtain referrals and authorizations.
• Collect copayments at time of service; post payments to correct system.
• Refer patients to the Business office for past due accounts; assist with hold claims.
• Participate in quality improvement for department efficiency; follow supervisor/coordinator directions.
