Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused professional for the 3rd shift in Whitwell, TN to provide first aid and ensure safety compliance on the production floor.

Responsibilities include medical records management, conducting post-offer drug testing, coordinating hearing tests, and leading monthly safety meetings. The ideal candidate has EMT credentials, CPR/First Aid certification, and OSHA certifications; manufacturing safety experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• EMT license required.
• CPR and Basic First Aid certification required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
