Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a Safety/First Aid professional for the 3rd shift to provide on-site medical support, conduct routine safety inspections, and manage confidential medical records.

The role includes drug testing for post-offer employment, scheduling hearing tests, and performing random screenings as needed. Qualifications include EMT license, CPR/First Aid certification, and manufacturing safety experience.

Qualifications

• EMT license is required.
• CPR and Basic First Aid certification required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and treat all work-related injuries.
• Perform daily safety inspections to ensure compliance.
• Maintain medical records confidentially.
• Conduct post-offer drug testing and schedule hearing tests; perform random screenings as needed.
• Lead monthly safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the job.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
