Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. is seeking a Medical & Registration Assistant (MA/RA) at its Chinatown Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports clinicians, prepares patients for visits, schedules referrals, and handles forms and lab tasks.

Qualified candidates have CMA or RMA certification and a HS diploma with MA training; associate degree preferred. CPR is required, and EMR experience (NextGen preferred) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) and High School Diploma or GED with one year of Medical Assistant training in primary care.
• CPR certification required and EMR experience preferred.
• NextGen EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for office visits and assists clinician with physical examination.
• Schedules external referrals and completes all necessary forms.
• Prepares specimens for laboratory pickup and follows tracking systems.
• Maintains required logs and performs lab quality control procedures.
• Greets patients and directs visitors professionally and cordially.
