Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification within 90 days of hire
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document in EMR, obtain vitals, prep for visit
• Assist with minor procedures and maintain sterile field
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling as needed
• Conduct EKGs and outpatient screening tests as per MD order
• Provide telephonic patient care and coordinate care with services
• Ensure infection control and safe patient care environment
