Job summary

International Community Health Services (ICHS) is seeking a Medical Referral Specialist - PACE to provide front-office and coordination support for patient referrals, insurance screening, and referrals processing. This role acts as a liaison among participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurers to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, with preferred scheduling experience in healthcare and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year scheduling experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet and coordinate patient referrals; facilitate insurance screening and referrals.
• Serve as a liaison between participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurance representatives.
• Perform general office duties to support seamless care coordination.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Experience

• One (1) year scheduling experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Experience with using electronic health record (EHR) preferred.

Other Requirement(s)

• Fluent in English: additional fluency in other languages is valued. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
