Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a Medical Records Tech to manage day-to-day records operations in our records warehouse. You will compile incoming records, verify accuracy, code files, and input information into our computerized storage system while supporting scanning and filing tasks.

You’ll help maintain a secure, organized workspace and contribute to a patient-focused culture through teamwork, accuracy, and process improvements; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office). Travel up to 20% of the time may be required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations of records support in the records warehouse.
• Compile incoming records and verify accuracy, sorting/coding according to file system.
• Input information into computerized storage system and assist in prepping and scanning.
• Remove staples, chart dividers, post-it notes, and count pages to batch appropriately.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support a patient-focused department culture.
