Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians to support scanning patient records at medical facilities across multiple sites. This entry-level role is a great foot-in-the-door into Healthcare & Technology, with company-provided laptops and scanners.

You will visit facilities within your time zone, handle records electronically, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Must be bilingual English/Spanish, have a valid driver's license, access to a car, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license and active insurance; own car.
• Available to visit facilities from 08:00 to 17:00 in your time zone.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• Interact with medical staff and healthcare providers.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Drive to facilities as required for scanning assignments.
