Job summary

Advantmed is seeking enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians to join our team and support scanning patient records across multiple medical facilities. You will receive company-provided laptops and portable scanners, enabling you to travel to hospitals and clinics to capture and digitize records.

The role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, and the ability to work independently within designated hours.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Own car and active insurance in name.
• Willing to drive up to 60–80 miles per trip.
• Home internet access.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills.
• Available 08:00–17:00 in respective time zones to visit facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are accurate, organized, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Interact with healthcare staff and providers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
