HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Medical Records Specialist at Methodist Hospital Landmark. You will support the HIM Director by managing HPF/MPF workflows, scanning and indexing records, and assisting with birth certificate processing.

You will also coordinate with families and physicians to ensure accurate birth information and timely records. The role requires attention to detail, experience with medical records, and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced hospital

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Hospital or medical office experience preferred.
• Experience handling patient health information and medical records imaging preferred.
• State birth certificate processing certification may be required; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieve discharged records and reconcile with HPF/MPF workflows.
• Retrieve, store, archive and retain documents and other media.
• Assist with physician suspension process and notification letters.
• Prepare records for scanning and ensure accuracy through QC checks.
• Scan, index and organize medical record documents.
• Assist birth certificate completion and related forms with families.
