Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care in Mt. Holly, NJ is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join our Quality Department. You will handle release of information requests and ensure compliance while working with electronic health records systems.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality with opportunities for career growth within a team-oriented environment. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

• Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines; maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel; proficiency in obtaining records from electronic health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for release of information to ensure compliance with laws; notify requester if non-compliant.
• Retrieve and prepare requested medical records for release in a timely and secure manner.
• Maintain up-to-date log of dates requests were received and records sent.
• Perform other tasks related to medical records.
