Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains medical record integrity through filing, assembling, and retrieving confidential patient records.
• Ensures accurate and complete medical records by scanning documents into the EHR and reviewing scanned images for accuracy.
• Assigns patient charts for approved external reviews and maintains Master Patient Index.
• Maintains paper files by tracking, retrieving, or purging patient records.
• Adheres to HIPAA and privacy regulations for patient information.
• Provides assistance to patients requesting records and supports all Medical Records functions.
