Responsibilities

• Schedule patient initial and follow up appointments; ensure efficient use of provider time and appropriate care.
• Perform telephonic patient scheduling and pre-registration; update patient information.
• Data entry and appointment confirmation; maintain schedule accuracy for patient flow.
• Follow procedures for answering and screening calls, scheduling interpreters, and routing calls to staff.
• Maintain confidentiality per Privacy Act and HIPAA.
• Assist with releasing medical records and routing to appropriate parties.
